Brooklyn Bridge Park Ballet Shoot
A while ago I decided to explore the movements of Ballet and attempt to capture some of its essence which is wonderful; the expressive movements and poses make it a great subject for photography. I've come to find that every ballet shoot has more to do with revealing a bit about the character and energy of the performer. For this shoot I chose Brooklyn bridge park at sunset and what's better for a backdrop than New York City? Using portable studio lighting (elinchrom quadra) and a Nikon 24-70 I was able to capture the gorgeous photo on top.
